United Methodist Women
The organized unit of United Methodist Women (UMW) is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the Church. Any woman may become a member who accepts the purpose and is willing to participate in the work of the UMW each year through prayer, giving and service.
Various groups within the UMW are refered to as circles, all of which meet at different times and places each month. Each group is unique in its membership and mission activities. Women are encourage to visit the Circles to determine which one best suites their needs. The UMW Circles include;
- Faith Circle --Meets the 2nd Tuesday @ 1:00 PM
- Joy Circle --Meets the 2nd Wednesday @ 9:30 AM
- Kindness Circle -- Meets the 3rd Tuesday @ 9:30 AM
- Love Circle --Meets the 3rd Wednesday @ 7:00 PM
- Peace Circle -- Meets the 2nd Wednesday @ 9:30 AM
