The mission of the Fenton United Methodist Men is to provide opportunities for Men to get involved in the total life of the church. Many of the activities have provided opportunities for Men to grow spiritually and have provided a support network for each other. You have the power to join and bring new activities to the FUMM. All you need to do is attend and bring your ideas. Current activities of the FUMM include:
Monthy Business Meeting
- 2nd Sept Saturday at 8am in room 117 Sept 11 (to avoid labor day weekend)
- 8:30am Breakfast
- 9am Keynote Speaker:
Cooking
- Pasty Sales (next sale ==> Sept 18, 2010) to Support the FLC Mortgage
2010 total to date $3.400! Plus $1,500 towards youth mission trip!
- Easter Sunrise & High School Graduate Breakfast
- Potato Dinner Benefit for the St Andrew Mission (2009 raised $1126!)
Building Muscle
- PET (Personal Energy Transportation) Project on 3rd Thursday 8am
- Decorate Church for Christmas
- Salvation Army Bell Ringing (2009 raised over $10,000!)
Helping Others
- Supported by Strawberry Festival during August Fenton Art Fair
- Gideon Bible Distribution
- Flint District and Detroit Area Council UMM
- Other FUMC activities-Flood Buckets, Midwest Distribution Ctr, Food Baskets
