Parish Nurses
The role of the Parish Nurse in our church community is to promote individual health through education and counseling.
As a health educator, our Parish Nurses promote an understanding of the relationship between lifestyle, personal health habits, attitudes, faith and well-being. They identify health needs and plan educational programs utilizing resources from the congregation and the community. A Parish Nurse is there to listen and answer questions regarding medications and the management of current health care issues.
