UMCOR Equal Exchange Coffee Project
Fenton United Methodist Church continues to support the fairly-traded coffee, tea, chocolate and snacks purchased through The UMCOR Coffee Project and it’s partner Equal Exchange, a 100% Fair Trade, worker-owned co-operative. Purchasing fairly traded goods allows small-scale farmers to earn fair prices, invest in farm improvements, reduce debt, and improve their communities while providing a better life for themselves and their families, as well as provides financial support to UMCOR.
A limited supply of products is available in the church office. A product list is available in the church office or you can obtain a list from their web site at: www.equalexchange.com/interfaith. Products are also available from Janet Ruggirello at 810-629-2132. An order will be placed on the 15th of each month so please be sure to call Janet prior to the 15th if you would like to place an order.
