United Methodist Women

The United Methodist Women (UMW) is a community of women whose purpose is to:

  • Know God
  • Experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ
  • Develop a creative supportive fellowship
  • Expand concepts of missions through participation in the global ministries of the Church

Any woman who accepts the purpose and is willing to participate in the work of the UMW through prayer, giving and service may become a member.

The Fenton UMW consists of several groups known as circles. Since each circle is unique in its membership and mission activities, women are encouraged to visit several to determine which one best suits them.

The UMW circles include:

  • Faith Circle: Meets the 2nd Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.
  • Joy Circle: Meets the 2nd Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.
  • Kindness Circle: Meets the 3rd Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.
  • Love Circle: Meets the 3rd Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
  • Peace Circle: Meets the 2nd Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.
