C.R.O.P Walk
The C.R.O.P Walk is stepping into town on Sunday, October 3. Now you’ll be able to catch some fun, fresh air, comradery of fellow walkers, and the start of the fall season as well. Not familiar with C.R.O.P.? It’s a branch of Church World Service (www.churchworldservice.org), a highly respected Christian relief organization. On walk day, C.R.O.P. walkers turn in pledges from friends and neighbors which in turn fights hunger both here and abroad. Last year, thanks to the efforts of sponsors and walkers, we received a sum of over $15,000. For more information on becoming a walker or sponsor, check upcoming church bulletins each Sunday or call Don Isenberg at 629-0288.
